Public support for federalism dropping: voters

CIAA has caught a local official in Saptari red-handed taking a bribe.

The local chapter of CIAA made the arrest as 50,000 Nr. were changing hands.

Salyan DDC just unveiled the budget for next fiscal year: 2.21 billion Nrs.

The DDC allocates 1.5 billion for “capital expenditure”, 560 million to infrastructure.

Khotang DDC institutes an annual journalism award of 50,000 Nr.

Specifically, the purpose is promote local media and “development-friendly journalism”.

Mustang district receives Rs 28 million as tourism royalty annually.
